UK raises support for offshore wind in next auction round

To support the suffering offshore wind industry, the UK is raising the potential strike price by 66%. While the price will also increase for other energy technologies.

In the next round of the UK’s Contracts for Difference (CfD) auction, bidders will be able to fetch significantly more pounds per MWh.
