Enercon names new CEO

The former COO becomes the struggling wind turbine manufacturer’s fourth CEO in four years. Results remain unsatisfactory, but new orders are profitable, says chairman.

Enercon used to be renowned for its reliability. Not only in terms of Germany’s efficient wind turbines, but also in the management of the family-owned company, which was headed by Hans-Dieter Kettwig for more than three decades until the end of 2020. However, the situation has since changed.
