Vestas receives 43 MW order in Germany

The Danish turbine manufacturer will supply seven turbines for the project.

Vestas has won a 43 megawatt (MW) order in Germany.

The wind turbine manufacturer announced this in a statement on Monday.

The order covers seven V162-6.2 MW turbines to be delivered to SAB WindTeam for the Bockenem project. Vestas will also receive a 25-year service agreement for the AOM 5000.

The wind turbines are expected to be delivered from the beginning of the third quarter of 2024 and will be in operation from the second quarter of the following year.
