Swedish wind farm developer Eolus Vind has signed an agreement to acquire Finnish YIT Energy for EUR 25m, a YIT announcement reveals.

The acquisition includes YIT’s wind and solar energy project portfolio and related personnel.

YIT announced in June that it would conduct a strategic reassessment of the opportunities for its renewable energy business, resulting in the agreement to sell to Eolus Vind.

In addition to the fixed price of EUR 25m, a variable price has been agreed based on project sales and completed projects. This could run up to EUR 75m and will be decided by the end of 2032.
