Vestas finally sells share of prestige project
Vestas is no longer an owner of Africa’s largest wind farm, Lake Turkana. As part of the BlackRock fund Climate Finance Partnership’s purchase of 31.25% of the project, the wind turbine manufacturer’s 12.5% stake has also been acquired. The remaining shares will be acquired from the Danish Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU) and its Finnish counterpart, Finnfund.
