Danish Energy Minister: Need for state support won't unlock Open Door scheme
The market for Danish offshore wind changed radically on December 1, 2021. From the state holding the industry’s hand either through price surcharges or risk mitigation contracts, the seabed suddenly became a valuable resource when both RWE and four other bidders proved they were willing to pay around DKK 2.8bn (EUR 408m) to build the Thor offshore wind farm.
