Ørsted makes USD 300m divestment

The energy company has sold an undisclosed stake in US onshore wind farms of almost one gigawatt - with a buy-back option. This is ”broadly in line” with strategy, Ørsted says.

Ørsted is selling an equity stake in a 957MW onshore wind portfolio consisting of four wind farms in the US to investment firm Stonepeak. The transaction has a value of around USD 300m.
