Vattenfall halts hydrogen project ahead of schedule

The energy company declares itself ”immensely proud” of the project, which was to develop the world’s first offshore hydrogen turbine, but is now ending on the eve of construction.

Apparently, a project is sometimes so successful that you don’t have to wait for completion to have the conclusion in place. Vattenfall has prematurely terminated its UK hydrogen project HT1, citing that it has helped establish a new way of regulating and licensing hydrogen in the UK.
