RWE awarded South Korean offshore license

The German energy company has been granted exclusive development rights for the Seohae offshore wind project.

German energy group RWE has been granted exclusive development rights (EBL) by South Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy to develop the Seohae offshore wind project. The project has a capacity of 495 MW and is located approximately 45 kilometers off the coast of Taean County in Chungcheongnam Province.
