Wind sector ready to launch industry standards: "We need to agree on a common language"

After three and a half years of work, Vestas, Siemens Gamesa, GE Vernova and Nordex are ready to release guidelines on turbines and components.

The appeal of the wind industry often lies in its striking visibility. For example, the specialised transportation of blades over 100 metres long, the construction of turbines taller than the Eiffel Tower, or the mammoth offshore wind farms that cover thousands of square kilometres.
