GE gets German deal worth several years capacity

US wind turbine manufacturer GE has entered a framework deal worth approximately 400 MW with German project developer Juwi.

A few years ago GE made a deal with German Juwi for 110 MW. But now the German developer is taking a step further and entering into a framework agreement with the US wind turbine manufacturer for 110 wind turbines this time. Final details have not been confirmed, however it will involve GE's 3.6 and 3.8 MW turbines, which will give a total capacity of between 396 and 418 MW.
