Nexans secures million-pound contract on UK Siemens farm

French, Norwegian, Dutch, and UK companies have all secured contracts on Siemens' major impending project. Danish giant Maersk is also indirectly involved.

Impending offshore wind farm East Anglia One is promising to be quite the international melting pot. Developer Scottish Power Renewables (SPR), which is a subsidiary to Spain's Iberdrola, has hired France's Nexans to deliver and insert two 85 km underwater cables along the coast of the 714 MW farm, in a contract worth GBP 180 million.
