
Consolidation in the Danish wind turbine industry intensifies again on Thursday. Two of the large subcontractors to wind turbine manufacturers such as Vestas and Siemens are joining forces to create a combined company with 1,200 employees.
Jupiter Group, which manufacturers fiberglass covers for nacelles, is entering the merger with about 700 employees and revenue which amounted to DKK 400-450 million (EUR 50-60 million) in 2015. Bach Composites, which supplies composite materials to companies such as Vestas, will pitch in with about 500 employees and revenue of DKK 50 million.
