As soon as possible the Dutch government should investigate the possibility of erecting one more offshore wind farm in 2023 than originally planned. This was passed by a majority vote of 9 out of 17 parties in the Dutch Lower House of Representatives – Tweede Kamer – on Tuesday afternoon. The proposers mention looking into the area IJmuiden Ver, which is 60-80 kilometers from the coast and has a total estimated capacity of 5.6 GW.
