Commercial fishermen lose case against US offshore wind farm
The hopes of stopping the 800 MW wind farm off the coast of New York City have failed for a coalition of commercial fishermen. "But our case will continue, and we are confident that we will succeed on the merits," states the coalition which still hopes to bury the project.
A US judge has denied an injunction to the stop the development of the first offshore wind farm in New York State, according to several media.
