Largest US offshore project selects UK cables

British cable manufacturer JDR Cables will supply the cable connection for what could become the largest offshore wind farm in the US. The manufacturer had to promise local jobs to land the order.

You have to give some to get some. This was the starting point for what could potentially become the largest delivery of submarine cables in the US so far. JDR Cables has been picked to deliver approximately 375 kilometers of cables for the 750 MW Ocean City offshore wind farm in the US state of Maryland.
