Chinese major player Goldwind declined

Chinese player Goldwind continues to be the largest on the Chinese market, but the Vestas rival saw its revenue decline in 2016. Nevertheless, Goldwind boosted profits.

Goldwind, which is among the world's largest wind turbine manufacturers, experienced a decline in 2016 as the company's home market in China slowed.

The company continues to be the largest player on the Chinese market, which despite slowing growth was also the country which installed the most wind turbines last year.
