24 companies prequalified for Saudi wind expansion

Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas is among the many familiar names partaking in the battle for 400 megawatts of wind development in Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Arabian authorities in charge of the country's first round of bidding, The Renewable Energy Project Development Office, have revealed the names of 24 companies which are pre-qualified to participate in the program.
