Siemens pushes forward in the second quarter

Revenue and earnings have increased at Siemens, which also saw a boost to its wind division in the second quarter.

Total revenue at Siemens has increased by 6 percent, while the wind and energy divisions are also showing good progress.

Altogether, revenue grew to EUR 20.2 billion in the second quarter, up from EUR 18.9 billion in the same period the year prior. Profit, however, remains at effectively the same level with a minimal increase of EUR 3 million to EUR 1.483 billion.
