Vestas US manager: The next five years will be the best ever

The future is bright for Vestas in the US, says the company's US country manager, despite the fact that the country's PTC subsidy will shrink every year.

Chris Brown, President of Vestas' sales and service division in the United States and Canada, foresees several fantastic years for the wind industry in the US over coming years.

"This industry is only just about to take off. The next five years will be the best we have ever seen," said Brown in a speech during a wind turbine conference in Anaheim, California.
