German company nabs deal on Australia's largest wind project yet

German wind turbine manufacturer Senvion has entered a deal for the Murra Warra project, which has the potential to become the largest in Australia. With 116 turbines and a capacity of 429 MW, the farm is 9 MW larger than Vestas' MacArthur farm, which since 2013 has enjoyed the title of the largest wind farm in the Southern Hemisphere.
