Tiny turbine manufacturer lands leading role in Russian GW expansion

A small wind turbine manufacturer with current annual construction capacity of 50 MW has signed a deal with the state-owned company which will erect at least 970 MW in Russia.

Microscopic Dutch wind turbine maker Lagerwey has secured what seems to be the deal of the year.

The Dutch company has entered a partnership with Otek, a subsidiary of state-owned Russian RusAtom, for the 970 MW that the Russians have won so far in the Russian tenders, states the turbine manufacturer.
