Vestas cashes in on partial order

The wind turbine manufacturer has announced a new order but is still poised to book its slowest quarter in years.

Vestas has received an order for 60 MW from an unnamed US customer.

The order is for 30 of the wind turbine manufacturer's V110-2.0 MW turbines, which are optimized to have capacity of 2.2 MW, bringing the project's total capacity to 66 MW, informs Vestas in a press release.
