NKT prepares for US expansion drive

With the opening of a new office in the US, NKT is getting ready to partake in major cable tenders both in onshore and offshore. Opening factories in the US is a possibility in the foreseeable future.

Major transactions are in store for NKT. The Danish cable manufacturer acquired ABB's cable division earlier this year and is now preparing to spin off Nilfisk, so that the company can concentrate on cables.

Now, NKT is bracing itself to take on the large markets in Germany and the US.
