Hearing scheduled for first MHI Vestas farm in the US

Authorities in Ohio have scheduled a public hearing regarding what could potentially be the first offshore wind farm in the US with Danish/Japanese wind turbines.

The first coastal offshore wind farm could soon be underway in the US.

The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB), which will decide the fate of the demonstration project Icebreaker in Lake Eerie, has summoned the local community to a hearing on Nov. 8 in Cleveland, writes OSPB in a press release.
