The V164 turbine is now active two places in the North Sea.

After the completion of Burbo Bank Extension, the first of MHI Vestas' 8 MW turbines for the Walney expansion farm has now begun to deliver electricity to the grid as well. By the end of the year, the remaining 39 V164 turbines are expected to be operational in the farm, which has 659 MW and will thus be the world's biggest offshore wind farm when it is complete in October next year, announces Dong Energy.
