NKT shows solid growth – but earns less

The Danish cable producer NKT has difficulty in keeping its income high and announces its forecast for the whole year's result on the lower end of the scale.

Substantial projects in the high voltage sector did not appear in the first half of 2018. The year's first large order for high voltage cables first arrived in July – after the close of the second quarter – when the company received an order to deliver around 50 percent of the cables for Danish utility Ørsted's offshore wind farm project Hornsea 2. That order's value is approximately EUR 147.7 million.
