Uniper pushed back on operating result

The German utility reduced its operating result by almost half, comparing the first quarter of 2019 with the same period last year. This development is due to factors such as gas and LNG earnings.

Rising costs and lower earnings on gas and LNG have contributed to a setback for Uniper during the first quarter of the year, shows the German utility's interim financial report, published Tuesday.
