Statkraft signs PPA with Deutsche Bahn

Statkraft and Deutsche Bahn have signed a one-year power purchase agreement. Since Jan. 1, Statkraft has provided green power from German onshore wind farms, whose subsidy from the German Renewable Energy Sources Act has expired.

Norwegian state-owned utility Statkraft is going to sell electricity to German transport, specifically the national railroad operator Deutsche Bahn.
