Statkraft selects ABB to make British grid greener

The Norwegian utility and a Liverpool-based project will see that the British power grid more easily adopts renewable energy.

Statkraft has awarded its supplier contract for Lister Drive Greener Grid Park, which will help decarbonize the UK's energy sector by seeing that the electricity grid can better accept renewable energy and by providing a low-emission alternative to regulation via conventional generators, the Norwegian state-owned utility informs in a statement.
