Statkraft closes Brazilian corruption case

Having paid a fine of EUR 2.8m to Brazilian authorities, the Norwegian utility can now close a case it's been dragging along since acquiring Desenvix Energias Renováveis in 2015.

Corruption is not the first thing that comes to mind when considering Norwegian state-owned utility Statkraft. Nevertheless, it has left a large stain on the company's business in Brazil in recent years.
