RWE has raised its 2022 earnings guidance, sending the share up by 4 percent to EUR 38.35 Thursday before noon.

The company projects adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of EUR 3.6-4bn against previous expectations of EUR 3.3-3.6bn.

Meanwhile, EBIT is now expected to land at EUR 2-2.4bn against EUR 1.7-2.0 previously.

At the same time, RWE forecasts a net result of EUR 1.3-1.7bn against EUR 1.1-1.4 in the previous guidance.

According to a brief press release, the upgrade is attributed to "a dynamic market environment [where, -ed.] we are able to secure higher generation margins."

Furthermore, RWE expects to pay out EUR 0.90 in dividends per share in 2022.

RWE will publish its annual accounts on March 15.
