Ørsted issues green bonds totaling EUR 2bn

Danish utility Ørsted has issued green bonds to the tune of nearly EUR 2bn after securing investor commitments for nominal EUR 900m and GBP 900m, according to a press release.

The Danish utility has issued three tranches of unsecured bonds.

The biggest tranche runs to EUR 900m with a fixed coupon rate of 3.25% until maturity in 2031.

The second tranche adds up to GBP 757m with a fixed coupon rate of 5.375% until maturity in 2042.

The last tranche comes to GBP 375m with a fixed coupon rate of 5.375% until maturity in 2042.

Ørsted maintains its financial outlook for 2022.
