Fortum strikes deal with Korean nuclear operator

The Finnish utility and Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power will collaborate on new nuclear facilities in the coming year.

Fortum has extended its existing partnership with Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP). The scope of the new Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) covers collaboration and information exchange regarding future nuclear power plants, new reactor designs, and safe and efficient operation of existing nuclear power plants, Fortum writes in a press statement.
