US governor demands compensation from "outrageous" Ørsted

Ørsted’s decision to drop its offshore wind projects in New Jersey ”calls into question the company’s credibility and competence,” says the state governor, who is demanding millions from the company.

Almost all the focus has been on New York for the past month. But it was the neighboring state of New Jersey that drew the short straw on Wednesday with Ørsted’s announcement that the development of the 2.25GW Ocean Wind 1 and 2 projects will be abandoned.
