Expensive gas contracts left Energi Danmark with a 2023 loss

The Danish trader had to swap a profit of more than DKK 8bn (EUR 1.1bn) for a loss of DKK 0.6m (EUR 80,400), but the company reports a ”healthy core business.”

Energy Denmark’s revenue fell to DKK 119.8bn (EUR 16m) in 2023. This is in stark contrast to the DKK 344.5bn (EUR 46m) reported in 2022, but it is on par with 2021.
