General Electric, the company which pioneered the light bulb 125 years ago with Thomas Edison at the helm, is now considering a divestment of its consumer-lighting division, reports the Wall Street Journal.
The Boston-based company is looking for an investment bank to head the sale which is expected to cash in USD 500 million (EUR 470 million).
