Vattenfall grows profit six-fold

The first half of 2017 was a banger for Sweden's Vattenfall which, despite declining revenue, saw its bottom line soar.

Vattenfall multiplied its profit by six in the first six months of this year.

This is despite revenue declining 3 percent in relation to the same period last year to SEK 69.4 billion (EUR 7.2 billion). Vattenfall need not worry about this decline as operations were more positive.
