Oil giants will help Norway with CO2 storage

The Norwegian government has tasked several oil companies with developing a storage system for CO2 emissions released by major industry players.

CO2 emissions from several of Norway's largest industry companies will be pumped into the underground instead of sent into the atmosphere, in a new project approved by the Norwegian government in order to push CO2 storage, also known as CCS.
