NKT leaps 250% across bottom line

The cable manufacturer adds significantly to both the top and bottom line in the second quarter of the year, even generating profits on segment the Danish authorities refuse to allow the sale of.

Not only cables are lining up nicely for NKT at the moment. So is the economy, where revenue in the second quarter of the year increased by 26% to EUR 468m, year-on-year, while the bottom line improved by almost 250% to EUR 35.3m for continuing operations. In the same quarter last year, that figure clocked in at EUR 14.2 m.
