Vestas receives order for 42MW – moves beyond significant milestone

The Danish turbine manufacturer lands a new order in Germany that brings the company’s total above 10 gigawatts.

Vestas has received an order of 42 megawatts from German Strom 2020 for the Bosau wind farm. The order consists of seven V150-6.0 MW turbines and also includes a 20-year service agreement, Vestas announced on Friday morning.
