University wants 160-kilometer H2 pipeline between Finland, Sweden

A pipeline transporting hydrogen from Umeå in Sweden to Raahe in Finland could be realized as part of a major investment in the substance at Luleå University of Technology.

Large hydrogen ambitions can now be seen across national borders. Sweden currently has several projects underway, of which many pertain to the green energy transition in industry. A hydrogen infrastructure is therefore needed, so that energy can be ensured – and stored when necessary.
