Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has had to recall 127,785 of its Model 3 cars in the Chinese market. This is due to possible suspicions of a flaw in semiconductor components that could lead to potential collisions with other cars, writes Reuters.

According to Chinese authorities, the recall pertains to cars manufactured between January 2019 and January 2022, of which some 34,000 were imported while the approximately 93,000 remaining vehicles were manufactured in China.

However, the news doesn’t appear to rattle investors much. The share price is shown to be 0.7 percent higher shortly before trading opens in the US.
