Next-gen heat pumps to help energy-intensive industry

The Danish Technological Institute is starting a new project to test full-scale heat pump technology on site at three companies. The hardware is reportedly able to generate temperatures of up to 160 degrees Celsius.

Under the auspices of international project SPIRIT, the Danish Technological Institute and several partners will be testing new heat pump technology enabling energy-intensive companies to electrify currently fossil-fueled production, the institute informs in a press release.
