Maersk Drilling has received approval for a delisting on the Copenhagen stock exchange.

Nasdaq Copenhagen has greenlit the delisting with the final day of trading scheduled for Oct. 3. The following day, Oct. 4, shares will no loner be traded in Copenhagen.

The delisting is linked to the upcoming merger between Maersk Drilling and Noble Corporation.

The two companies first announced their merger plans in November 2021.
