Poland reaffirms milder winds

Both onshore and offshore wind will be new energy sources, asserts Poland's deputy minister of energy ahead of projected 2.5 GW onshore tender this year.

Poland's renewable energy expansion continues to bear uncertainty. But indications from the country's national-conservative government have become more positive toward solar and wind power during this past year. Most recently, Deputy Minister of Energy Grzegorz Tobiszowski supported renewable energy technologies at a gathering arranged by Polish industry organization PSEW.
