Low water levels in the Norwegian reservoirs and uncertainty over Europe’s electricity supply in the months ahead has led Statnett to update its assessment of the Norwegian power situation.
”The current high uncertainties in the European energy markets may affect Norwegian security of supply. Statnett is following the development closely and alerts the market that security of supply might become tight in certain situation towards and through the winter of 2023,” writes Statnett in a press release.
