Christmas season set record for Vestas

In addition to surpassing its hitherto largest annual order volume with 15 percent, order intake between Christmas and New Year indicates several interesting tendencies.

Vestas' late-year order intake set a record once again. 16 orders for a total capacity of 1,771 MW lifted the manufacturer's annual contracts by around one-eighth, bringing the combined order volume for the year up to 12,889 MW. That is roughly 15 more than the year prior – and add to that the still-unannounced orders for the fourth quarter.
