Global Wind Service appoints new CEO

The co-founder steps back but continues on the board of a Norwegian-owned service operator, while a former Vestas director is appointed as the company's new chief executive.

Global Wind Service (GWS), a Danish wind turbine installation and service operator, is undertaking an atypical executive reshuffle. Lars Bo Pedersen is stepping down as chief executive, effective from today, in order to take over the role as chief commercial officer with responsibility for sales and business development. The former CCO, Michael Høj Olsen, is taking over the position as CEO, the company informs in statement.
