Enercon can celebrate a few fortunate recent events, including writing a 320 MW contract into its order books. WPZ BV, the developer behind the Netherlands' largest onshore wind farm, Windpark Zeewolde, has signed a contract for nine units of the EP2 platform as well as 74 wind turbines of the newer EP3 series, rated up to 4.2 MW and with a tip height of 220 meters. Installation will begin toward the end of this year.
